Frameless glass shower doors utilize thick, durable, tempered glass to maintain structure without the need for bulky framing. The glass is tempered and resistant to shattering. Watertight seals are used to prevent water from escaping from the shower and ruining surrounding surfaces, threatening the shower’s stability. These units use 3/8″ or 1/2″ thick glass with polished perimeter edges. Holes are drilled into the glass for handle installation and the hinges are mounted directly to the glass. Quality frameless enclosures can also be described as works of art.
